MassodihPlans Disclaimer

Disclaimer

You came to MassodihPlans because you are looking for practical knowledge about physical development plans. Maybe you are a student who needs to understand how to draw an architectural floor plan, a landscape design layout, or a survey plan for a Nigerian small plot. Maybe you are a property owner who downloaded one of our free plans and you want to use it as a reference for your own building project. Or maybe you are a built environment professional exploring what this platform offers before you reach out to us.

Whatever your reason for being here, we want you to leave with accurate expectations. This disclaimer page exists to be straightforward with you about what the content on MassodihPlans is, what it is designed to help you do, and where the limits of that help begin and end.

We do not write disclaimers to protect ourselves from you. We write them because honest communication is the foundation of a platform that thousands of Nigerian students, property owners, and built environment professionals are going to rely on. You deserve to know exactly what you are working with before you make any decision based on what you find here.

What MassodihPlans Is

MassodihPlans is a Nigerian physical development plans education and resource platform. Our primary mission is to teach students and practitioners how to draw architectural design plans, landscape design plans, survey plans, and urban and regional planning documents practically and professionally.

Everything we publish on this platform is created by professionals with real training and hands-on experience in the Nigerian built environment. You can learn more about who is behind this content by visiting our about page, where we explain our background and what qualifies us to teach and guide you in this niche.

In addition to our teaching content inside Plan School, we maintain a plans library where you can download free physical development plans for small plots, and we offer direct professional services to clients who need original plans produced for real projects in Nigeria. The full scope of those services is available on our services page.

All of this is offered in good faith and with the genuine intention of helping you. But good faith does not remove the need for clarity about what our content can and cannot do for you.

General Information, Not Professional Advice

The tutorials, articles, guides, and explanations published across MassodihPlans, including everything inside Plan School, are intended for educational and general information purposes only.

When we explain how to draw a site plan, how to calculate plot coverage ratios, how to position buildings within Nigerian setback requirements, or how to produce a landscape planting schedule, we are teaching you a skill and sharing professional knowledge. We are not providing certified professional advice tailored to your specific plot, your specific local authority, or your specific project conditions.

Physical development in Nigeria is regulated by state planning laws, local government bylaws, and zoning regulations that vary significantly from one state to another and from one local government area to another. What applies in Lagos Island may not apply in Uyo. What a planning authority in Abuja accepts may not be the same as what a planning authority in Enugu requires.

No piece of general educational content on this platform, regardless of how detailed or specific it appears, replaces the need for you to consult with a registered and licensed professional in your state who understands your local planning context.

If you are in any doubt about the regulatory requirements for your plot or project, contact the relevant town planning authority in your state. Do not rely solely on information from any website, including MassodihPlans, as the basis for a statutory planning or construction decision.

About the Free Plans in Our Plans Library

The downloadable plans in our plans library are prepared by trained built environment professionals and are shared freely as reference and learning resources. We are proud of the quality of these plans and we put real effort into making them accurate and practically useful.

However, there are important things you must understand before downloading and using any plan from our library.

Every plan in the library is a general reference plan. It is not a certified statutory plan for any specific plot of land. It does not carry the official seal or stamp of a registered architect, town planner, or surveyor. A plan downloaded from our free library cannot, on its own, be submitted to a Nigerian local planning authority as a development application without first being professionally adapted, reviewed, and stamped by a licensed practitioner registered with the relevant regulatory body in your state.

Plot sizes, setbacks, road reservations, and building heights across Nigerian cities differ. A plan drawn for a 50 by 100 feet plot in one location may not work for a plot of the same dimensions in a different state because the planning regulations governing those two locations may be different.

We provide these free plans to help you learn, to give you a practical starting point, and to show you what professionally drawn physical development plans look like. We strongly encourage you to take any plan you download from our library to a registered professional before using it as the basis for any construction or official submission.

MassodihPlans accepts no liability for any loss, penalty, regulatory sanction, construction defect, or financial damage that results from using a plan downloaded from our library without appropriate professional verification and adaptation.

About Our Plan School Tutorials

The drawing tutorials inside our Plan School are designed to teach you practical skills. We show you step by step how to draw architectural plans, landscape layouts, survey drawings, and urban planning documents. Our tutorials are as accurate and detailed as we can make them.

But accuracy in teaching does not guarantee accuracy of outcome for every student or every situation. Drawing plans is a skill. It takes practice, correction, and feedback to develop. Reading a tutorial and following the steps does not automatically produce a plan that meets all the requirements of your specific project or institution.

If you are producing a plan for a university or polytechnic project in Nigeria, your institution has its own marking criteria and drawing standards. Always confirm those requirements with your lecturer or supervisor. MassodihPlans content is a learning support resource, not a substitute for your institution’s direct guidance.

If you are producing a plan for submission to a Nigerian planning authority as part of a building permit application, you must ensure the plan meets the exact technical and regulatory requirements of that authority. A tutorial on this platform teaches you the skill. It does not certify the output.

Professional Services Are Separate From Educational Content

When you commission a professional service through MassodihPlans, you are engaging us for a specific deliverable under a separate professional agreement. The terms that govern that engagement are distinct from the general educational content on this platform.

Before commissioning any professional service, we encourage you to review the details on our services page and to use our contact page to discuss your project requirements with us directly. Professional services are subject to their own scope, timeline, and payment terms, which we confirm with every client before work begins.

External Links and Third Party Websites

From time to time, MassodihPlans may reference or link to external websites, regulatory bodies, professional associations, or other resources that are relevant to built environment practice in Nigeria. These external links are provided for your convenience and for informational purposes only.

We do not control the content of external websites. We do not endorse every position, product, or service mentioned on websites we link to. When you leave MassodihPlans and visit a third party website, you do so under the terms and policies of that website, not ours.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of any external website that is linked from this platform. Always exercise your own judgment when consulting external sources.

Accuracy of Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the content published on MassodihPlans is accurate, current, and professionally sound. Our content is reviewed by people with direct training and experience in architecture, landscape design, surveying, and urban and regional planning in Nigeria.

That said, built environment regulations in Nigeria change. State planning laws are amended. Local authority requirements are updated. Professional standards evolve. We cannot guarantee that every piece of content on this platform reflects the most current regulatory position in every Nigerian state at any given moment.

You are responsible for verifying that any information you act on, whether from our tutorials, our plans library, or our articles, is consistent with the current regulations and standards that apply to your specific project and location. Our editorial policy explains how we approach content accuracy and how we handle updates to published material when regulations or standards change.
